In this art lesson, you will learn how to draw a face, step-by-step, as Carrie Stuart Parks guides you through several demonstrations of a variety of facial features using her favorite pencil drawing techniques. After learning how to measure and draw accurate proportions, you'll tackle individual features (eyes, nose, mouth and head shapes). You’ll finish up with lessons on how to shade and draw hair. Carrie’s friendly instruction and helpful tips will give you the skills you need to draw your own favorite faces. See Materials List
"In retirement, I have gone back to school to take drawing classes that I never could. This video is so practical and fits into my course work so perfectly. Mrs. Parks' instructional style is so refreshing and alive. Hope there will be more of her videos soon. As it happens, I had purchased her book recently, and now to get it re-inforced thru the video is a real treat." --Tom B.
